Canadian Sawmill Production and Shipments Decline in November

On Monday, Statistics Canada (StatCan) reported that Canadian lumber production declined 6.0% to 3,996.8 thousand m3. Year-over-year, production was down 10.9%.

Sawmills shipped 4,053.6 thousand m3 of lumber in November, down 8.7% from October and down 5.4% from November 2023.
