Kaamos Timber Investing in a New Sawmill in Mozyr Belarus, Selects Mühlböck as their Drying Technology Partner

Kaamos Timber, the Estonian wood industry company founded in 2003, has announced it is investing in a new sawmill in Mozyr, Belarus and they have selected Mühlböck as their drying technology partner. The new sawmill will incorporate the use of the Mühlböck dry kilns 1306 PRO. The acquired dryers ensure a production volume of at least 100,000 m3 per year. In speaking about the selection of Mühlböck dry kilns 1306 PRO, Tõnu Bergmann, CEO of Kaamos Timber, said, “The 4 dryers ordered from Mühlböck with a total value of Euro 800,000 are Kaamos Timber’s largest investment in Mühlböck equipment so far.” The dryers are currently being built and will be delivered to Belarus in 2022. The sawmill is expected to start operating in the Q3 of 2022.
