HS Timber Group Completes Acquisition of Swedish Sawmill Malå Såg

HS Timber Group announced that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Swedish sawmill Malå Såg AB from Setra Trävaror AB.

With the closing of the transaction, Malå Såg becomes part of HS Timber Group but will continue to operate under the name Malå Timber. HS Timber Group said it will work closely with the local management team in Malå to further develop the site, strengthen its market position, and support long-term sustainable growth.

Malå Såg is a well-established sawmill in northern Sweden, specializing in high-quality products made from Nordic pine and serving international markets. The company said the site’s regional footprint and integration into local value chains make it a valuable addition to the group’s portfolio.

The acquisition strengthens HS Timber Group’s presence in Northern Europe and supports its strategic objective of expanding its portfolio of high-quality, sustainably sourced wood products.
