Mayr-Melnhof to invest € 130 million in new cross-laminated timber production plant

Mayr-Melnhof has announced that they intent to invest € 130 million on new cross-laminated timber production plant to be located at the company’s site in Leoben, Austria. Construction is scheduled to start in the second half of 2020, with production scheduled to start at the end of 2021. Also included in the investment plan, is a planing mill, a high-performance secondary sorting warehouse and a fully automated high-bay warehouse.
