Weyerhaeuser to Invest $16.1 Million at Natchitoches Louisiana LVL Mill over Next 3 + Years

Weyerhaeuser announced that it expects to invest $16.1 million over the next 3 or more years in upgrades to equipment and the modernization of their facility located in Natchitoches Louisiana. The 250,000 square foot LVL mill currently has 200 employees and expects to add an additional 20 people in the coming years. Currently, in Louisiana Weyerhaeuser operates a plywood and veneer mill in Zwolle and an oriented strand board mill between Arcadia and Simsboro which feed the Natchitoches saw mill operation.
