According to the daughter-in-law of the owner, Julie Doiron, a fire broke out in the shop at the Cap-Pele Sawmill Ltd., in Trois-Ruisseaux, New Brunswick on Wednesday morning. The good news is there have been no reported injuries by either the company, or by the multiple fire departments that responded to the blaze. The building, however, is believed to be a total loss. The company started as a sawmill in the early 1980’s and later expanded into making trusses.
