Nordic Sawmillers Announce Additional Curtailments

Nordic sawmillers are reporting that recently reported weak financial results are prompting production curtailments. Weakening demand due to uncertain global economic conditions and a spruce beetle infestation has resulted in a large amount of product available for sale. To help offset the current oversupply and over production further curtailment announcements have been made by Bergs Timber, Stora Enso, and Moelven.
