Koskisen Sells Russian Wood Processing Facility to Cherepovetsles

Koskisen, the Kärkölä, Finland based, family-owned company, which offers a wide range of wood products, using state-of-the-art technology, announced on June 22nd, 2022, that it had sold its wood processing facility, located in Russia to Cherepovetsles.

Koskisen, previously announced on March 8th ,2022, that it was ceasing operations in Russian and would no longer be importing sawn wood or logs from Russia.

According to the company’s news release, the Russian business operations made up a small share of Koskisen’s net sales, and the financial impacts of the sale of the operations on the company are minor.
