The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending February 1 was 1,850,000. This is a decrease of 36,000 from the previous week’s unrevised total of 1,886,000. The 4-week moving average was 1,871,500—a decrease of 750 from the previous week’s unrevised average of 1,872,250.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 1.2% for the week ending February 1, unchanged from the previous week’s unrevised rate.
