U.S. Consumer Sentiment Reaches 2-year High

According to the University of Michigan Survey of Consumers, consumer sentiment rose 1.1% to a reading of 100.9 in February 2020, up from 99.8 in January 2020 and a 7.6% increase year-over-year. The current level is at an almost 2-year high, thanks to consumer’s view of the economy, their finances and adding signs that consumption will continue to support growth.
