Canadian home sales fall in January, real estate group says
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is reporting that a slowdown in Lower Mainland of British Columbia resulted in Canadian homes sales falling 2.9% in January when compared to December. According to CREA actual sales, not seasonally adjusted, rose 11.5% year-over-year, CREA’s Home Price Index was up 4.7% year-over-year as well.
