Greenpanel Industries MDF plant located in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, India, Resumes Full Production

Greenpanel Industries Ltd., India’s largest manufacturer of wood panels, reported on Sunday (12-26-21) that the company’s MDF plant located in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand has resumed full production and is operating at full capacity. This after the repair of the refiner and replacement of other defective components has now been completed.

The company also reported that because the loss of production due to the shutdown lasted beyond 14-days the losses will be covered by business interruption insurance. The company is in the process of ascertaining the amount of actual loss and is waiting for further documentation from the OEM manufacturer.
