Egger Wood Products Prepares to Open North America Headquarters

Egger Wood Products which is headquartered in Tyrol, Austria, will open the first of its multiphase North American headquarters and manufacturing facility at the I-85 Corporate Center in Linwood, near Lexington North Carolina in January 2020. The first building to open will be the corporate office, which will accommodate about 80 employees. Meanwhile, construction of its new particle board manufacturing plant continues, which is expected to employ upward of 400 by the end of 2020. Situated on more than 200 acres, the Lexington production facility will be Egger’s 20th plant worldwide and first in North America. It will produce thermally fused laminate (TFL) and particleboard. The second phase of development will include finishing lines for added value production.
