The National Fire Preparedness Level remains at Level 3 out of 5.

As of Monday, three large new wildfires had been reported in the U.S. Alaska accounts for 67 active wildfires, while New Mexico has three and Utah has two. California, Colorado, Montana, Washington, and Wyoming each reported one active wildfire. Altogether, 336,852 acres are burning, with only two of the fires currently reported as partially contained.

The NIFC provided the following comparative statistics:

From January 1 through June 30, 2025, a total of 33,946 wildfires have been reported, burning 1,789,582 acres. During the same period in 2024, 16,022 wildfires burned 2,570,875 acres.
