New Mexico Getting New Sawmill Venture

With the help of $ 350K investment from the New Mexico Economic Development Department, Lance Forest Products has announced its intention to relocate their Redding, California sawmill to Cimarron, New Mexico. Lance Forest Products executives have developed logging and thinning agreements with ranches in the northern New Mexico region, and state officials are hoping additional thinning in the area will help reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfires.
