Capacity for Tolko Industries/Southeast Timber Products Joint Venture in Mississippi Updated
Tolko Industries, the Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, based company announced that it is making a $150 million (USD) investment in its 50-50 joint-venture partnership with Southeast Timber Products LLC, (STP) of Ackerman Mississippi, a Tolko Industries (U.S.) Ltd.-STP Holdings Partnership, which began in November of 2018.
The expansion project is scheduled to be completed in Q1 of 2024. When complete, the Ackerman Ms., sawmill will increase its current capacity of 120 million board feet to 250 million board feet on an annual basis. This is 50 million board feet less than originally announced.
