The Carrier Group of Companies has announced pre-dated updates to their previous announced shutdowns at its Tabor and Big River Mills in Canada. The Tabor Planer in Prince George B.C. ran a single shift the week of May 4th. With further operations to be announced on a week by week basis. The Carrier Forest Products sawmill in Big River, SK, will operate on a limited basis from May 4th to June 5th but the planer and Shipping will remain down. The Tabor Sawmill will continue operations, as will Carrier Manufacturing and the Bar K Ranch. Shipping will continue at the Tabor Mill.
