Canfor Curtailing an Additional 75 Million Board Feet of Production Capacity in BC
Canfor announced additional capacity curtailments at 5 sawmills in British Columbia accounting for 75 mmbf of capacity. Canfor’s Houston, Polar, Prince George and Fort St. John sawmills will curtail operations the week of September 3rd. In addition, the Houston and Plateau mills will shift to a four-day work week until market conditions improve.
