Canfor Announces Investment to Upgrade Sawmill in Estill, South Carolina
According to a press release issued on Thursday (6-23-22) by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Canfor Corporation, will be investing $ 25 million to modernize its Estill, Hampton County Facility.
The upgrades are expected to be completed by the end of the year, and when finished the Estill facility will have cutting-edge technology and equipment to position it and the company to meet growing global demand for its wood products.
