Arkansas Takes the Lead in Architectural Innovation and Design

The state of Arkansas is taking its place at the forefront of architectural innovation and design. Ahead of such traditional leaders as New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Yes, big things are happening in Arkansas thanks to a powerful combination of national resources and local driven initiatives. From the re-purposing of a defunct Kraft cheese factory into The Montgomery, the contemporary offshoot of the Moshe Saddie – designed Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, to the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, where last year the school finished the country’s largest mass timber building – Adohi Hall with 202,207 square foot dormitory. And the University has just announced massive research complex, the Anthony Timberlands Center for Design and Materials Innovation.
