Remodelers’ Confidence Increases in Fourth Quarter of 2019
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has posted the results of their Remodeling Market Index (RMI) for the 4th Qtr., of 2019. All 3 components of the RMI: 1) Major additions and alterations, 2) Minor additions and alterations and 3) home maintenance and repairs post gains in the 4th Qtr. The RMI is at a reading of 58, up 3 points from the 3rd Qtr., of 2019. Any reading above 50 points indicates that more remodelers report market activity is higher compared to the prior quarter than report it is lower. The RMI has been above 50 since the 2nd Qtr., of 2013.
