Recent Home Buyers Experience COVID-19-Induced Fears
According to a new study conducted by Clever, 42% of homeowners who made a purchase during the time period of January and May this year have ended up in a bidding war. Which further establishes that demand for housing remains strong and that inventory remains extremely low. In their research Clever discovered that 84% of homebuyers who purchased their home before April 28th, 2020, were able to pay their mortgage in full. Of recent homebuyers, 55% said they’re paying their mortgage in full, but only 45% are able to pay if a financial contributor has lost their job
