Tafisa Granted Exemption from Quebec Government, Resuming Operations

The Quebec government has granted an exemption to Tafisa to resume manufacturing on one of its two particleboard lines and both of its thermally fused laminating lines. Both products are used in the manufacturing of hospital and food furnishing fixtures. The plant was originally ordered to close as part of the Quebec’s effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus by ordering all non-essential business to close through April 13th.
