CP Railway Reaches New Two-Year Collective Agreement With Teamsters of Canada Rail Conference

The Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (CP) today announced (8-15-22) that it has reached a new two-year collective agreement with the Teamsters of Canada Rail Conference (TCRC), which represents 3,000 CP locomotives engineers, conductors, train, and yard workers across Canada.

The new agreement was made possible when both parties agreed to enter binding arbitration back in March 2022 to resolve outstanding matters as part a new collective agreement, which included wages and pensions.

The new agreement will run through 2023 and includes a 3.5% pay increase in both 2022 and 2023 and an increase in benefits. Also under the arbitration decision, the TCRC will also join a CP Pension Improvement Account.
