Wood-Based Exports from Brazil Decline in November 2019

The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) is reporting that Brazilian exports of wood-based products (excluding pulp and paper) decline almost 19% in value in November 2019, when compared to November 2018. Or from $301 million in 2018, to $ 244.9 million in 2019. Also, in November the value of pine sawnwood fell 3%, while plywood exports declined 39%, or in volume, almost 15% when compared to November 2018.
