Tolko taking downtime at Armstrong Lumber, Armstrong Plywood, Heffley Creek Plywood, and White Valley Veneer facilities

Tolko Industries will take two weeks of downtime at its Armstrong lumber, Armstrong plywood and veneer operations in White Valley beginning August 17th. Tolko’s Heffley Creek plywood and veneer operations will also take a week of downtime beginning August 24th. The company cited the combination of high log costs and weak markets as the reasons for the downtime.
