Koskisen Announces Additional Investment at Its New Sawmill in Järvelä, Finland
Koskisen continues to develop the production of Sawmill Industry
Koskisen Corporation, an international wood processing specialist with more than a century of experience, recently announced (8-10-23) that it was making an additional investment at its new sawmill located in Järvelä, Finland. The value of the investment is approximately EUR 15 million, and the majority of it will be allocated to 2024.
According to the press release, the company has decided to invest in an eight-hectare log yard at the site. The project includes a log sorting yard and line with control rooms, as well as a stormwater treatment system. Additionally, a new access route to the factory area, a gate environment, access control, and a vehicle scale will be constructed.
The new log yard and related operations are expected to be completed at the beginning of 2025.
