Weyerhaeuser Announces Sale of 81,000 Acres of Timberland in Arkansas

On Thursday, Weyerhaeuser released its Q3 earnings report, announcing that it had entered into an agreement in October to sell approximately 81,000 acres of non-core timberland in Arkansas for $146 million.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4, subject to customary closing conditions.

Consistent with its long-standing approach to active portfolio management, Weyerhaeuser said it will continue evaluating opportunities to optimize returns from its timberland holdings while maintaining flexibility for broader capital allocation and strategic growth initiatives as market conditions evolve.
