Timber Products Brings New High-Speed TFL Laminating Line Online

Timber Products has brought a new thermally fused laminate (TFL) production line online at its Table Rock Composite Specialties facility in White City, Oregon, Building-Products.com reported (8-20-26).

The Dieffenbacher Zaisenhausen Single Daylight Short-Cycle Laminating Line replaces an older press and expands Timber Products’ product capabilities. TFL panels will now be available in sizes up to 5 ft by 12 ft, while shelving will be available in 12-ft lengths.

The line will initially operate with five employees, with staffing expected to decline to three or four as production ramps up. At full operation, the line is expected to use a crew similar in size to the previous press while producing roughly three times the output. The automated system requires no manual panel handling from infeed until products are banded and ready for shipment or further processing.

Commenting on the announcement, Timber Products VP of Panel Sales David Smith said:
