Fire Destroys Timberlyne Kiln Drying and Storage Facility in Cass, MN

A fire on March 26 destroyed a large kiln drying and storage facility at Timberlyne Wood Products in Cass, Minnesota, Bring Me The News reported (3-27-26).

The Nebraska-based company produces pine log products used in wood barns, timber homes, and specialty flooring.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a “large fire” on the south side of Cass Lake and found a major structure fully engulfed.

“The structure and contents are initially reported to be a total loss,” the sheriff’s office said. “There were no reported injuries associated with the fire and the investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the State of Minnesota Fire Marshal’s Office.”
