U.S. Median Home Price up 6.8% Year-Over-Year

The National Association of Realtors®(NAR) has reported that lower mortgage rates in January, helped to increase the number of house hunters. It also helped to push the U.S. median home sale price up 6.8% from one year ago. Up from $249,000 in January 2019 to $266,300 in January 2020. However, the NAR warns that home sales could be squeezed in the coming months because of a shortage of homes listed for sale.
