Home Prices Grow at the End of 2019

According to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price Index, home prices in December rose 3.8% annually. Up 3.5% from the November reported gain. The cities reporting the largest gains in December were: Charlotte, with a 5.3% increase, Phoenix, with a 6.5% increase and Tampa, with a 5.2% increase. The 20-city composite rose 2.9% in December, up from 2.5% in November. The 10-city composite increased 2.4% annually, up from 2% in November.
