S&P Cotality Case-Shiller Index Records Annual Gain in June 2025
On Tuesday, S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) released the S&P Cotality Case-Shiller US National Home Price NSA Index, formerly known as the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices. Year-over-year, the Index posted a 1.9% gain in June, down from a 2.3% increase in May.
The 10-City Composite rose 2.6% annually, easing from a 3.4% gain the prior month. The 20-City Composite advanced 2.1% year-over-year, compared with a 2.8% increase in May.
Among the 20 cities, New York recorded the largest annual increase at 7.0%, followed by Chicago (6.1%) and Cleveland (4.5%). Tampa registered the weakest return with a 2.4% decline.
Before seasonal adjustment, the US National Index inched up 0.1% month-over-month. The 10-City Composite slipped 0.1% and the 20-City Composite edged down 0.04%.
After seasonal adjustment, the National Index fell 0.3% month-over-month, while the 10-City and 20-City Composites declined 0.1% and 0.3%, respectively.
