ADP Reports National Employment in the Private Sector Increased in July
According to the July ADP National Employment Report®, which is derived from ADP’s actual payroll data, and measures the change in total nonfarm private employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis, private sector employment increased by 167,000 jobs from June to July. In prepared remarks, Ahu Yildirmaz, vice president and co-head of the ADP Research Institute, said, “The labor market recovery slowed in the month of July. We have seen the slowdown impact businesses across all sizes and sectors.”
