Allowable Annual Cut for B.C. Lakes Timber Supply Area cut by 41%

Diane Nicholls, B.C. chief forester announced an immediate 41% reduction in allowable annual cut (ACC) for the Lakes Timber Supply Area, located in north-central B.C.  This in response to the end of the mountain pine beetle epidemic. The new level is 6% below the previous 2-years harvest levels.
