Born and raised in Oregon, Ken describes himself as growing up as a “lumber brat” in a large family of lumbermen, loggers and foresters. He has seen first-hand the policies, economics and emotions that have impacted the forest products industry over his lifetime.
As an analyst and Executive Editor of Crow’s Weekly Market Report and The Forest Industry Journal for over 25 years, Ken has shared his unique perspective of the markets with industry professionals. He is a well-known author and speaker whose work has been published many times.
In his free time, Ken is a US Coast Guard-licensed captain who delivers yachts along the US and Canadian west coasts.
