Chari Gimenez
Research Manager
Chari Gimenez is the Research Manager at FEA, based in FEA Canada’s Vancouver office.
She is responsible for the forest products research, data collection, and analysis that support FEA’s industry publications, market intelligence, and consulting services.
Chari plays a key role in managing data for several of FEA’s flagship publications, including Wood Markets Monthly, Asia Bulletin, Wood Markets Status & Trends (WMST), and the Global Sawmill Cost Benchmarking Service. As part of the data team, she also helps maintain and update the company’s proprietary databases.
Chari’s work focuses on gathering and analyzing North American and international industry statistics across multiple wood products, including lumber, timber, and panels. She also conducts extensive survey work, including the Wood Markets Monthly North America Top Lumber Producers list and global price collection.
Chari’s nearly three decades of experience in forest products research began in 1997 with International Wood Markets Group. She brought her longstanding expertise to FEA when Wood Markets was acquired in 2017.
Chari holds a BA with honors from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.
