Ana Gutierrez is a Data Analyst II at FEA, focused on PricePulse. She manages the data collection, validation, and analysis for all wood panel prices, helping ensure their accuracy and integrity.
Her work provides clients with timely, transparent insights into market conditions and pricing trends.
Prior to joining FEA, Ana spent several years conducting research in forestry and agricultural economics. As a Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and previously at Louisiana State University, she contributed to natural resource economics research focused on private forest landowner decision-making, including the drivers behind adoption of forest management practices and conservation program participation. Her work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented at academic and professional forums.
Ana’s expertise includes economic analysis, data visualization, survey research, and policy evaluation. Her research has examined topics such as forest certification, conservation easements, landowner preferences, and outreach strategies for family forest owners. This combination of analytical rigor and applied forestry knowledge provides valuable perspective for FEA’s market intelligence and consulting services.
Ana holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Ave Maria University. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
