With the decision made in 2020 and an investment of EUR 79 million, the new CLT project proceeded according to plan. Production was scheduled and started on-time in 2022Q3. When fully operational, the site will have an estimated annual production capacity of approximately 120,000 m3.

Including the Ždírec site, Stora Enso will have a total capacity of 490,000 m3. Ždírec is Stora Enso’s fourth production unit for CLT, following Bad St. Leonhard and Ybbs in Austria and Gruvön in Sweden.
