Rayonier Advanced Materials to Temporarily Idle Témiscaming, Quebec, Paperboard Operation and One High-Yield Pulp Line

Rayonier Advanced Materials announced on Friday (10-6-23) that it was temporarily curtailing production at its Témiscaming, Quebec, paperboard operation and one of its high-yield pulp lines for 3 weeks, beginning on October 7th.

Rayonier says the move will help the company optimize inventory levels and address lower-than-anticipated demand. Customer orders will not be impacted.
