Burton Mill Solutions acquires Carolina Cutting Tools
Burton Mill Solutions announced on Wednesday (12-6-23) that it had completed its acquisition of Carolina Cutting Tools located in Newberry, South Carolina. Carolina Cutting Tools is a provider of industrial cutting tool reconditioning services to sawmills and chip operations across the Southeastern US.
The transaction enhances Burton’s geographic reach and technical capabilities to better serve primary wood producers who choose to outsource the reconditioning of their circle saw blades and machine knives.
With the addition of Carolina Cutting Tools, Burton further extends its unprecedented range of technical expertise and capabilities in wood processing technology, covering new wide-band and circle saws, industrial knives, filing room equipment, reconditioning services, and industrial wear parts.
Carolina Cutting Tools’ Newberry, South Carolina, location will complement Burton’s existing network of saw and knife reconditioning service centers in Maine, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Alabama.
