Canadian Sawmill Production and Shipments Decline in June

On Friday, Statistics Canada (StatCan) reported that Canadian sawmills produced 3,995.6 thousand m3 of lumber in June, down 3.6% from May but up 0.2% from June 2024.

Lumber shipments totaled 4,239.7 thousand m3 in June, a 2.7% decrease from May but 3.9% higher than a year earlier.
