Metsä Wood announced it will scale down its operations in the UK, citing significant changes in the competitive landscape and evolving customer requirements.

Metsä Wood UK said it will begin a collective consultation process with employees. Based on initial plans, the proposed changes would affect roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines across the organization, with an estimated impact of approximately 140 positions.
