Junnikkala Commissions New Sawmill in Oulu, Finland

Finland’s Junnikkala recently commissioned its new €70 million sawmill in Oulu, Finland. The planned annual production is 350,000 m3 of sawn timber. Approximately 90% of the production is destined for export markets.

Veisto Oy supplied the technology for the new mill. Installation began in September 2023, and commissioning took place in December 2023. The line is expected to be fully operational in July 2024.
