HS Timber Group Finalizes Acquisition of Latvia’s Kurekss

HS Timber Group has completed its acquisition of Kurekss SIA, a leading Latvian wood processing company, and its subsidiary Kurzemes Granulas SIA, following final approval from the Latvian Competition Authority.

Both the Kurekss and Kurzemes Granulas brands will continue operating under their existing names, with the current management team remaining in place. HS Timber Group said the companies will collaborate to identify synergies and strengthen their market potential.

The transaction marks another step in HS Timber Group’s expansion across the Baltic region, enhancing its portfolio of sustainably operated sawmills and renewable wood processing facilities.
