Texas’ Largest Mass Timber Office Building Opens in Frisco

A new mixed-use development in Frisco, Texas, is expanding the city’s footprint with the debut of Southstone Yards, which includes what is billed as the largest mass timber office building in Texas, Local Profile reported (2-19-26).

The Offices at Southstone Yards, designed by Duda|Paine and Gensler, mark the first phase of the 45-acre development. The project features mass timber construction and incorporates raised floors to enhance flexibility for electrical infrastructure, reduce build-out costs, and simplify long-term maintenance.

Toyota Financial Services, which provides financing and insurance for Toyota and Lexus vehicles, has signed a lease for the 242,000-square-foot building. The property was developed by Dallas-based Crow Holdings.

The new office is expected to accommodate approximately 1,000 employees and is scheduled to open later this year.
