Introducing DowelLam

On February 20, StructureCraft announced that it is launching DowelLam, a dedicated division for dowel-laminated timber (DLT), to streamline manufacturing and supply for clients across North America.

StructureCraft first brought this all-wood mass timber panel to the North American market in 2017, launching the world’s largest automated DLT manufacturing line. Since then, the company has delivered over 150 projects featuring DLT across various building types, with notable clients including Microsoft, Princeton University, Johns Hopkins University, Hines, and Howard Hughes.

StructureCraft has established DowelLam as a separate brand focused exclusively on DLT manufacturing and supply. With this transition, the two brands maintain their services as follows:

  • StructureCraft will continue providing structural consulting, engineering, and construction across all materials, including steel, concrete, glass, and multiple timber products such as CLT, MPP, GL, and DLT.
  • DowelLam will specialize in the design-assist, engineering, manufacturing, and supply of DLT products.

All DLT-related inquiries will now be handled through DowelLam, ensuring a more focused approach to supporting clients through the design, manufacturing, and delivery process.
