U.S. Economic Growth Slows in 2019
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) has reported that U.S. economic growth slowed to 2.3% in 2019. Down <-0.6%> from 2018, which had a 2.9% increase. According to the BEA, real gross domestic product (GDP) expanded at annual rate of 2.1% in the 4th Qtr., of 2019, the same increase that was experienced in the 3rd Qtr., of 2019. The 4th Qtr., increase marks the 23rd consecutive quarter of growth.
