Expert Panel Anticipates Home Price Growth Will Moderate
On Monday, Fannie Mae released its Q3 Home Price Expectations Survey (HPSE), conducted with Pulsenomics LLC. The survey showed that following national home price growth of 5.3% in 2024, a panel of more than 100 housing experts expects growth to average 2.4% in 2025 and 2.1% in 2026.
The forecasts mark a downward revision from last quarter’s expectations of 2.9% for 2025 and 2.8% for 2026, according to the Fannie Mae Home Price Index (FNM-HPI).
