Roseburg Modernizing and Automating Pembroke, Ontario, MDF Facility

Roseburg announced on Friday (9-30-22) that the automation and modernization of its Pembroke, Renfrew County, Ontario, MDF plant are continuing. The Pembroke plant produces a wide variety of high quality MDF products, as well as manufacturing MDF mouldings onsite.

The current updates are focused on improving the two-line MDF moulding operation. An automated packaging line has been installed on line 1, resulting in large improvements in efficiency. The upgrade to line 2 began this month. When complete, these automations will increase the operation’s total volume capacity by more than 50%.
